CDS-John Blue is pleased to introduce the Next Generation, 3”, self-priming, Centrifugal Pump, which means greater overall liquid transfer capacity. The new transfer pump has a 2-in-1 inlet design (patent pending), which gives growers the flexibility to select from two inlet locations on one pump. The standard lower inlet with backflow valve, yields maximum pump flow. Alternatively, change to the higher inlet, which allows the outlet lines to drain after shut-off while retaining self-priming capability on start-up. Plus, improved technology enables new o-rings use instead of the old gasket technology, making maintenance even easier. Two new Centrifugal Pump models are available:

  • New High Flow (HF) model, SP-3350, is for 13-hp gasoline engines and 15-hp electric motors. Both pumps have a maximum capacity of 400 gpm.

  • New standard model, SP-3340, is for 10-hp electric motors. It has a maximum capacity 340 gpm.

Our newly upgraded Centrifugal Pump impeller improves performance, surpassing the competition. Both of our most popular transfer pumps: the 2” and 3” pumps feature the new and improved impeller. The impeller has improved capacity while pressure is applied (see flow curve diagram). For example, the new impeller will allow users to gain 75 gpm more flow at 30 psi compared to the standard impeller. At open flow (0 back pressure) users will realize a 20 gpm increase resulting in a maximum flow rate of 327 gpm. Additionally the new impeller design sustains a high shut off head of 64 psi.
