Since 1886 John Blue Company has been a leader in the agricultural pump market with "Innovative, Top Quality" products and "Second to None" service. In 2000 John Blue Company join forces with CDS Ag Industries forming CDS-John Blue Company, now a division of Advanced Systems, Technology, Inc. Through the merger, CDS-John Blue Company has maintained their passion for providing top quality agricultural and industrial pump products and services to all customers.

More than 121 years ago, John Blue Company began forging a reputation for quality as a manufacturer of liquid fertilizer applicator pumps and equipment. The company started in North Carolina and moved to Huntsville, Alabama in the 1940's after a fire destroyed some of the buildings. Huntsville, being in the heart of southern agriculture, was chosen for its close proximity to the steel industry. In the early years, John Blue Company not only manufactured liquid applicator pumps but also self-propelled sprayers; dry, liquid and anhydrous ammonia applicators; liquid and anhydrous ammonia nurse units; cotton module makers; cotton wagons and even small tractors. With the changes in the agricultural economy in the mid-80's, the company chose to devote all of its resources to developing and building pumps, flow dividers, manifolds and accessories for applying liquid fertilizers and chemicals.

In 1980, CDS Ag industries, Inc. began business in Chino, California as a manufacturer of squeeze tube and irrigation pumps. Through the 80's and 90's CDS grew by acquiring other product lines to broaden its customer base.

CDS-John Blue Company continues the tradition of being a leader and pioneer in innovative design for the new era of precision agriculture. Just recently, CDS-John Blue Company achieved technological breakthroughs in the development of the patented Flow Dividers, and the patent-pending Impellicone for Anhydrous Ammonia Applications. We continue to bring to market "must have" products like our Variable Rate Fertilizer Pumps.
